Miami – British Airways (BA) announced today it is permanently cutting at least 13 long-haul routes from its schedule beginning summer 2021.
Multiple news sources report that Pittsburgh (PIT), Calgary (YYC) and Charleston (CHS) are on the cut list along with Seoul ICN), Kuala Lumpur (KUL) and Osaka (ITM). The Seychelles (SEZ), a popular winter holiday destination, has also been removed. Muscat (MCT), Jeddah (JED) and Abu Dhabi (AUH) routes are axed, and BA will also temporarily suspend flights to Sydney (SYD), Bangkok (BKK) and San Jose (SJC).
