Boeing has told key airlines and parts suppliers that 787 deliveries would resume in the second half of 2022, according to a report from Reuters.
Boeing’s 787 inventory, which numbers over 100 aircraft has locked up cash and cut airline capacity as global travel starts to take off.
Boeing had hoped to resume deliveries in the second quarter of this year but that schedule has slipped as the company undertakes inspections and repairs for structural flaws in the jets, under a more watchful FAA.
