Air France-KLM, in a massive win to Airbus, is set to order up to 90 A350s made up of 50 firm orders and 40 options.
According to a Bloomberg report, the airline group said that “the decision to go with Airbus for its widebody fleet renewal came down to a complex choice around aircraft range, pricing and slot availability — and the European plane maker’s willingness to be more aggressive to edge out arch-rival Boeing.”
The A350-900s and -1000s will replace the group’s Boeing 777s.
