Airbus just scored another big order for its new transatlantic fleet, which is set to edge out Boeing

  • The new jet has been the star of this year’s Paris Air Show, with American Airlines announcing that it ordered 50 of the new Airbus planes on Wednesday.
  • Boeing is set to compete with that Airbus offering, but its fleet’s announcement was reportedly delayed due to the ongoing 737 Max debacle.
