Vietnam Airlines Joins IATA’s CO2 Emissions Measurement Project

At the recent IATA AGM Annual Conference in Dubai, Vietnam Airlines signed a cooperation agreement to participate in the CO2 emissions measurement project, CO2 Connect, developed by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). This makes Vietnam Airlines the first Vietnamese airline to join this initiative.

Under this agreement, Vietnam Airlines will provide data for IATA to calculate average emissions per passenger for each route and aircraft type.
