  • Fast-fashion giant Bestseller is planning to build an enormous skyscraper in Brande, Denmark — a small town of just 7,000 residents.
  • The eponymous Bestseller Tower is set to stretch 1,050 feet, which is almost as tall as the Salesforce Tower in San Francisco.
  • It will be the tallest building in western Europe, beating out the Shard in London by 34 feet.
  • Despite the building’s size, Bestseller has not come up against much local opposition.
  • “The Danish news media tried hard to find someone opposed, but they couldn’t find anyone,” a local reporter told The Guardian.
